In this chapter Alex was invited to visit Kevin, who is his age and live in the south of Australia.
They camped at the Kangaroo Island. I think it was very excited for Alex, who has never seen kangaroos or koalas before.
At the second day Alex and Kevin droved to North Australia, to Mary's Peak, for climbing on it.
The walk taked over 4 hours. On the top, they sat down, and Kevin told about his experiences with his uncle Tom at this place. It was a nice day for Alex, but it ended with a tearsful thought about Tom.
In my opinion Alex mean with the sentences Let him see how he likes it, how Tom will feel when Alex isn't at home. Will he be disappionted like Alex? Or doesn't it matter for him?

hey marie, i could not send a comment to your new post so i write the answers in this comment.
1. In my opinion he is happy to see his father but he his only pretending that he do not like his father.I think this is normal, because Tom delayed the second time and so Alex thought that Tom do not want to see him. I would prefere it to see him private and not on a concert, because in the crowd you can not talk with him over all the things that you want.

I think they will tell it them. They can not keep it secret for the whole time. Maybe they do not want to tell it them because they do not want to break the harmony of the band and maybe be terry or another member could be jealous of Alex, beacause he came new to the band and he felt at once with Dani in love and maybe the others love her longer then him.

No, because the junior of the cow was alone and maybe he would die when nobody cared about him. I think it was very bad of Tom to let the litle (mini) cow alone^^.
